Sustained Compression

Provides sustained compression for up to 7 days. Comes with a pressure/tension indicator for ease of use.

Soft Padding Layer

High wearing comfort due to soft padding designed to distribute pressure and transport moisture from skin into padding.

Latex-free Coating

Cohesive second layer prevents slipping.

JOBST Compri2 compression bandages provide an effective level of graduated compression to the affected limb and are easy to apply. They are designed to be used in the initial phase of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) for treating lymphoedema. They are also used to manage venous leg ulcers and venous oedema.
JOBST Compri2 is a two-layer bandaging system. The two layers include:

  • Layer one (padding layer) – contains a non-woven face and a PU foam face which is applied on the skin. The padding layer is specially designed to improve pressure distribution and sufficient moisture transport.

  • Layer two – has a cohesive latex-free coating which allows the second layer to stick to itself and prevent slipping.

The compression bandage is available in standard and lite versions:

  • JOBST Compri2 (standard version) – provides a compression level of approx. 40mmHg which is achieved after application of both layers.

  • JOBST® Compri2 LITE (lite version) – provides a compression level of approx. 30mmHg which is achieved after application of both layers.

JOBST Compri2 is indicated for patients with an ankle brachial pressure index (ABPI) of ≥ 0.8, while JOBST Compri2 lite is suitable for the compression treatment of patients with an ABPI of between 0.5 and 0.8.

JOBST Compri2 and JOBST Compri2 LITE compression bandages come in two different sizes for the following ankle circumference ranges:

  • 18-25cm

  • 25-32cm

How to apply JOBST Compri2 compression bandages:

  1. Apply the compression bandages with the foot in an angled position of 90 degrees.
  2. Wrap the bandage around the foot starting at the base of the toes.
  3. Continue wrapping around the foot, overlapping the bandage on the back of the foot so that half of its width covers the ankle.
  4. The next turn of the bandage goes over the heel.
  5. Continue bandaging as far as the knee and ensure overlapping. The padded bandage should fit the shape of the leg with minimal stretching.
  6. Remove any excess material and press the end of the bandage on lightly.
  7. When stretched, an indicator on the bandage changes from an oval to a circle to help ensure correct tension.
