The design features a zip that allows for easy examination of the surgical site and helps manage the need for surgical dressings following breast surgery.

Available with and without cups, the JOBST Surgical Vest is designed with patient comfort in mind and may be worn to hold surgical implants in place.

Tips for wearing JOBST Surgical Vest:


1. When you first receive your JOBST Surgical Vest, take it out of the package and unzip the front zipper all the way.
2. Slip the garment on as you would any front-closure bra and then zip it up.
3. Lean over, adjusting your breasts however they feel most comfortable.
4. Expect the fit to be snug.
5. Before finally donning your JOBST Surgical Vest, cover any open wounds with an appropriate wound dressing. Sensitive scar tissue can be covered with a padding.
6. Adjust to comfortable fit, especially in the axilla, but ensure coverage of the affected area.
  • Be sure to close all VELCRO hook closures before washing.
  • Wash twice a week.
  • Due to wear or slackening of the material, the medical efficacy can be guaranteed for a wearing period of 6 months for the JOBST Surgical Vest.
